Lakewood Country Club, a premier Distinguished Emerald Club of the World, is hiring for a Restaurant Server.  Opened in 1959, our beautiful Reese Jones 18-Hole Golf Course, newly remolded Clubhouse, and Pool & Tennis facilities are just minutes away from I-270, restaurants, and a Metro Bus Stop.  We are looking for friendly, dedicated, and reliable individuals like yourselves to join our Lakewood Family Team.



The Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality of beverage production and service to our Members and guests in addition to supporting all Club venues, events and fellow Employee Partners in delivering quality beverages and service.  The Bartender maintains the bar, bar service areas, and related storerooms in a neat, organized, and secure manner.


  • Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure inventory of supplies.
  • Requisition additional supplies and alcohol as necessary.
  • Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks.
  • Acknowledge member/guests and meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to standards. Do not open a bottle unless you are sure that there isn't one already open.
  • Maintain records of liquor, beers, and wine to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times.
  • Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
  • Ensure that all club policies and procedures are followed.
  • DO NOT serve alcohol to minors (under 21) or intoxicated guests/members; If this occurs, inform your manager immediately.
  • The employee will be expected and should be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be professional in both appearance and manner at all times.
  • To work well as a team member with the entire club staff.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities will be added from time to time.




  • Must be well organized, have a strong work ethic and dependable.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills.
  • Available to work weekends.
  • Ability to work efficiently with a sense of urgency.
  • Background in customer service.
  • Ability to foresee customer needs.




  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous bartending experience required 3 years minimum experience.
  • Working knowledge of the most common cocktails, mixed drinks, and specialty drinks.
  • Possess a passion for exceeding Member expectations and a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality Member and guest experience.
  • Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Preferred T.I.P.S. Certified


  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
  • Push, pull or lift up to 25 pounds.
